The Egg and the Coin

Back to Horror Stories

“One of my students who attended a fine arts program for young children in Taiwan was taught to play piano in the following way:

— hold an egg in your hand

— simultaneously balance a coin on top of your hand

— a needle is suspended a half inch or so from your wrist on the under side and another from the top of your wrist.

Now, play without losing the coin or damaging the egg, because if you do, you will get a whack with a ruler.

This student does have some tension problems, but loves to play. Hmmm.”
